NZ Concrete Group is a Maori-owned business, founded and led by Doug and Adam. Our tikanga — our way of doing things — is not a corporate values statement bolted on for a website. It is the way we were raised, the way we run our crews, and the way we treat the people we build for.
Tikanga means the right way of doing things. In concrete construction, that means quality work, honest communication, crews that look after each other, and structures that honour the land they stand on. These principles have guided us for more than 30 years.

Doug started in concrete more than 30 years ago. Adam grew up on job sites. NZ Concrete Group is the natural result of a family that knows one thing well and has spent decades getting better at it.
Today, the business operates across New Zealand and Australia, but the culture has not changed. We still hire people we would trust on our own home. We still answer the phone personally. And we still believe that the best way to grow a business is to do good work and let the results speak.
That is our tikanga. It is not complicated. But it is real.
